To ensure you receive the national standard of care, all our homes are accredited by the Australian Aged Care Quality Agency. We believe accreditation only represents the minimum level of service that we should provide to you. We strive to go above and beyond these minimums to ensure you receive an exemplary standard of care.
Our staffing levels are based on our residents’ needs, and are constantly monitored and adjusted to ensure continuity and quality of care. Registered nurses are on duty at our homes 24 hours a day, seven days a week. Our registered nurses are supported by enrolled nurses and personal care staff; all of whom are qualified at a minimum Certificate 3 level.
Our clinical care team is supported by a strong multi-disciplinary team including lifestyle assistants, physiotherapy assistants and other specialist providers.
You are welcome to continue your care from the general practitioner of your choice at our home. Should your general practitioner be unable to continue your care, we can provide a list of visiting practitioners or refer you to one of our on-site general practitioners. TLC Primary Care’s general practitioners are available at our medical centres that are open Monday to Friday from 9:00am to 5:00pm.
